Split-core CT, 200A, 200A:26.6mA, 25mm (0.98") Hole Diameter, SCT-025-200UL
CT Type: Split-Core
Max. Amperage: 200 amps
Inside Diameter: 25 mm or 0.98 inches
Outside Diameter: 70 mm or 2.76 inches
Thickness: 18 mm or 0.71 inches
Certifications: CE, Approved by UL for use with our UL Listed Omnimeters
Wire Gauge: For use on cable that is 400 MCM or smaller. It is best to measure your wire diameter in millimeters, rather than use the MCM wire size. This is because the insulation thickness varies materially from one wire manufacturer to the next. It is much better to oversize your CT than to undersize it.
These 25mm Split Core CTs are easy to install: simply snap these current transformers around the wires being read. They are very compact and can measure the current used in the majority of residential electrical systems. These CTs are designed to be used in conjunction with our Omnimeter line of electric meters for any load from 1/4 amp to 200 amps.
These CTs are so easy to install you may see an overall savings in reduced labor costs to offset the increased price of the split core format.
These are very compact and economical for their level of accuracy (0.1% which is just a few watts). They have 7518 internal turns, creating a 26.6 mA output at max. amperage.
The CTs will fit on up to 400 MCM insulated wires. It is a good idea to measure your wires before selecting a CT model to be sure that they will fit.
- Use 1 CT for 120 volt single phase North American, or 230 volt 2-wire foreign systems
- Use 2 CTs for 120/240 volt single phase systems
- Use 2 CTs for 3-phase 3-wire systems (no neutral)
- Use 3 CTs for 3-phase 4-wire systems
These CTs are UL and cUL Recognized and are approved for use with our UL listed meters, to be a complete UL Listed meter install.
Each CT has a unique serial number, is individually tested, and indicates the correct orientation of the CT in relation to the load of the electrical system being metered.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERSAsk a Question
would this meter work with standard CT's ratio 200:5 or 400:5
200:5 and 400:5 are for 5 amp output Current Transformers. These will not work with our EKM Omnimeters. Our Omnimeters are designed to work with 26.6mA output CTs. So attaching 5 amp output CTs would not be at all accurate and could damage the Omnimeter.
We chose to design our meters for 26.6mA output CTs because they are more accurate, particularly when it comes to phase angle measurement.
do these CT's output 333.33 mV at max rated input current?
Thanks for our inquiry. Our CTs output 26.6mA at max rated input current. These work with our Omnimeter models. They will not work with third party devices that require 333.33 mV.
