Now you can automatically and remotely meter Water, Gas, Heat or other Pulse-Output sources.
These EKM meters will keep track of pulse counts from up to 3 pulse-output meters. Any dry-contact, non-powered on/off source will connect directly to the 3 pulse-input connections on the meter.
Pulse to units ratio is configurable in the meter for 1:1 to 1:9999. Pulse counts are held in the same non-volatile memory as the rest of the meter data. Fully supported by the remote reading, EKM Reader software.
This one meter can meter a 120/240 volt 3-wire system using external CTs and also take pulse inputs from 3 separate pulse output devices.
Up to 256 of these Pulse Counting Electric meters can be connected to one of our communication converters to be read either locally with a computer or over the internet from anywhere in the world. You can know exactly how much water, gas, and electricity any user has been consuming from anywhere in the world.
